Music Monday: 10 Favorite Outkast Songs

Sometime in the late 1990s, I discovered the group Outkast.  Their music was so strange and great and it made me move.  I remember the first song I heard was Rosa Parks.  Shortly after, I went to Best Buy and bought their album Aquemini.  Track after track, I fell in love with the album and the group.  Terrific music to move to, to bob your head and listen to in my car.  Their music can be tough, fun and smooth.

Not long after, I found a few friends liked Outkast as well.  I got to hear the previous albums and I was floored.  I couldn’t believe it took me this long to find this group.  They were still relatively unknown until Stankonia dropped in 2000 and it was over.  It was a big hit and there were so many new Outkast fans and it was terrific.  When Mrs. Jackson came out, I knew the whole world would come to love Outkast and I was right.

So, here are my top 10 Outkast songs, number 1 is my favorite of their songs.

Oh and one last thing, I would love to just be around Andre 3000, this is the coolest mutha funka on the planet.
